Live Event Painting > Wedding Receptions

The painting was done almost entirely during this festive spring wedding reception at the Beach Point Country Club in Mamaroneck, NY. My focus was on capturing both the energy of the guests on the dance floor and their onlookers, and the colored lights and floral decor of the space, with the bride and groom as a focal point. I arrived about two hours early to set up and start painting the background, and stayed a little late to put in the finishing touches so the couple could take the painting home at the end of the night.
