The groom's brother/best man and his wife, shown in the painting to the left of the married couple, commissioned this painting as a gift. They specifically requested that I highlight the beautiful flower arrangements and unique chandeliers and lighting scheme of this Pier 60 reception hall. I also included the details of the Hudson River boats and skyline outside, both sets of parents, the wedding cake, and the band.
The painting was done mostly onsite, with touch-ups and details added in the studio.
