The main ballroom of the historic Grand Prospect Hall has some of the most intricate architectural detail and colorful lighting I have painted, and I aimed to convey both the detail and the overall expansive feel of the space. I also captured the band playing on the theatrical stage towards the back of the room, the centerpieces on the tables, and the wedding cake. Key family and bridal party members are also scattered around the room, showing the party in full swing.
The main background was painted at the event, with detail and some portraits added in the studio.
