This painting was a gift from the sister of the bride, and I made sure to include her to the right of the bride and groom, with her fiance, the groom's twin brother, and both sets of parents behind her. I also sought to convey the energy of the dance floor, the beautifully detailed cake, and the lush centerpieces, which all contributed to the sophisticated, limited color scheme of the room.
Most of the painting was completed at the reception, with some touch-up work in the studio.
